We function through empowering youths by providing them with opportunities to lead, learn from seniors and contribute to the society in whatever position they currently are. We are focused in inspiring youths to lead their generation from the grass-root level. There are three key departments within this group:

  1. Food security: In this department, we are currently providing food relief packages to individuals, students and needy one's for at least a minimum of 10 days. Till date, we have served over 70 families within our locality. The food security project is conducted by the funds we collected through donations. We successfully raised 700 USD for this project by now and we are looking to do more.

  2. Environment Section: Under the environment section, we tried to clean up the locality's waste mostly on the sites where most number of people visit during the morning and evening time. We believed that hygiene is more important to fight against the virus and clean environment is everyone's right.

  3. Technological Advancement: Under this, we tried to make sanitizers, corona virus sample collecting booths, infrared thermometers and currently we are working on an community based e-library project. We successfully manufactured hand sanitizers as per the requirements given by WHO and provided them to some families within our community. For the corona virus sample collection booth, our seniors have successfully made and are distributing it to the hospitals within our district and the neighbouring one's. Regarding the infrared thermometres, we have got access to all other things but we are in urgent need of the infrared sensors. For the e-library, it's more for a long term vision project, we called for volunteers on facebook and the online volunteers are working on it.

The Coronavirus Testing Booth is for medical staff to collect the samples of swab or blood from patients before samples are sent to the lab. This is more convenient and is very effective in places with the least amount of PPEs available.

Feed the needy ones is a challenge to collect 300 USD from friends, social media fund-raisers and any other prospective places to feed 100 needy individuals over the course of 10 days as due to lockdown, there is a major crisis of food in various regions around the globe.

Support

Regarding funds, we have been supported by various people in our community for the food relief and the environment department.

Regarding the technological department, the expenses are just too high for every project since, very few materials are found in Nepal. We would like to get any sort of financial help, in any of our technological project. For the coronavirus testing booth, we need about 750 USD to prepare one booth. For now, we have already prepared one and provided it to the government hospital in Hetauda. But, we are looking to prepare more of them to send to various parts of Nepal. Any kind of financial support would be great. For food security, we have provided food to over 120 individuals. We are looking to feed 1000 people. It would require 15 dollars to provide a family of 4 with enough rice, lentils, potatoes, salt and oil, to have lunch and dinner for 10 days in Nepal.

Any kind of volunteering as a technical department mentor or supervisor or a project member in the e-library project would be of great value.
